Kirei observes that today's society relies heavily on the delivery system in their daily lives, both for food and goods. Additionally, we have the idea to create a device that can sterilize the goods that the delivery system delivers.
Some may argue that the coronavirus (SARS-Cov-2) will not live on the delivered goods, which are inanimate objects. Especially when it comes to cooked food. Those things are completely true. However, reports indicate that droplets that may land on the items during the delivery trip can cause the potential for infection to remain.
Kirei eliminates viruses and bacteria using UV-C radiation rays. Although experts have not tested the ability of UVC light to kill coronavirus, they believe it has a high chance of success because UV-C radiation rays can kill MERS, SARS, and viruses similar to SARS-Cov-2.
Additionally, later this tool will be placed in a public place so that the surrounding community can use it.
