FMCW Radar Trainer consists of a programmable baseband system and basic components of an S-Band Ultra Wide Band radar system. This device is ideally suited for students in a laboratory setting to understand the fundamentals of FMCW radar systems including the signal processing of the received echo. The system is designed to work in real-time. The students can directly modify the acquisition protocols and understand the effects to the processed data. Its modular design allows the students to conveniently change the characteristics of the transmitted RF waveform, the range resolution and maximum ambiguous range of the system, and to modify the speed of ADC in the receiving side up to 200 ksps, ensuring more flexibility to learn and safely experience a real working FMCW radar system.
